2018 - 2025

When they ask me for a portrait, I am the kind of person who makes a symbolically personal record, I like to get into the look, the knowledge, the work, their ideas, their abstractions, their dreams, their words. It comforts me that the portrait leaves a trace of thoughts, an accumulation of finished and at the same time unfinished ideas, where you do not see a fabric, but patches of different colors, textures, fragrances, sensations, memories. Someone who loves the idea of a portrait wants to stain a white canvas, and for that image to enter through the eyes, pores, ears.
